Santina Semadar Panetta is a Canadian artist recognized internationally for creating Neo-Pointillism, a contemporary movement that reimagines the classical pointillist technique through a modern lens. Working primarily in painting, Semadar Panetta's vibrant compositions blend traditional artistic philosophy with innovative approaches to color, form, and texture.

Semadar pursued her passion for the visual Arts, in 2002 she enrolled at the Academie Arts & Beaux Arts, Quebec, where she completed an intensive art program grounded in French teaching philosophy, with a synopsis that was taught at the University Sorbonne in France. It covered artistic fundamentals, creative growth, art history, semiotics and iconography. In 2006 Semadar graduated with Honours and Great Particular Distinction. Her work demonstrates a deep understanding of classical art traditions, while pushing the boundaries of contemporary expression.

Semadar’s paintings are characterized by their luminous quality and meticulous attention to the interplay between color and light. Through her Neo-Pointillist technique, she creates works that are both contemporary and timeless, offering viewers an immersive visual experience that cannot be replicated through digital reproduction. The magnetic quality of her original paintings draws collectors and art enthusiasts seeking authentic encounters with her distinctive artistic vision.
In 2018, her contribution to art history was formally acknowledged and was honored by the “Comitato Scientifico", Art Critics and Historians, with the first volume of “Enciclopedia delle Arte, from Rinascimento to Neo-Pointillism in Florence, Italy. The publication can be found in 1000 Museums worldwide.

Semadar has exhibited extensively across North America and Europe, with her work featured in prominent venues including the Carrousel du Louvre and Grand Palais in Paris, and MEAM (European Museum of Modern Art) in Barcelona. Her paintings have received critical acclaim from international art historians and critics, earning her numerous prestigious awards including the 2019; ‘Grand Prix Louvre’ in Paris, and the ‘Leonardo Da Vinci International Universal Artist Prize’ in Rome.

Since 2011 Semadar is part of the American Jewish Archives in Cincinnati Ohio, for Preservation of America's Heritage abroad, Member of Gemlucart, Monte-Carlo Monaco, SdAi Société des Artistes Indépendants Paris.
